Eckel Junction Road improvement planned in Perrysburg

The city of Perrysburg has announced plans to resurface part of Eckel Junction Road once school lets out at the end of May.

Eckel Junction will be milled and repaved between Dixie Highway and the CSX Transportation railroad tracks east of Fort Meigs Road, the city Division of Engineering said. Curb replacement and other associated work also are planned.

Traffic will be maintained at Eckel Junction’s intersection with Dixie, which is part of State Rt. 25. Elsewhere, one lane will be maintained each way, and access to the Mercy Health urgent care facility on Eckel Junction will remain open.

Construction is scheduled for completion by Aug. 15.
