One of the busiest spring postseason Saturdays is here. From morning to afternoon and into the early evening, Peoria-area teams and individuals will compete for regional, sectional and state championships.

Boys track and field athletes across all three classes are in Charleston for the finals in the state meet. Baseball teams are punching tickets to small-school supersectionals and large-school sectionals.

Let's not forget city rivals Peoria Notre Dame and Richwoods squaring off in a girls soccer sectional title with a berth to the Class 2A Elite Eight on the line. Plus, boys tennis is in the final day of the state finals.

Lots of great prep sports to kick off the final two weeks of the season.
