Police investigate fatal crash on Route 130 in Pennsauken

PENNSAUKEN – Police are investigating a crash here that killed one 20-year-old man and hospitalized another.

The accident happened around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, on the 9000 block of southbound Route 130, also known as Crescent Avenue, said an account from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victims were found in a car that had struck the rear of a tractor trailer, the account said.

A passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car’s driver was hospitalized in stable condition, and the trucker was unhurt.

Tuesday’s crash was the second fatal accident on Route 130 in Pennsauken in recent days.

A pedestrian was fatally struck on the highway around 9 p.m. on April 9.

Details of that accident were not made public.
