One dead, children flown to hospital with critical injuries after Henry County crash
HENRY COUNTY, Va. – One person is dead and two children were flown to a hospital following a Henry County crash, according to Virginia State Police. On Saturday at about 7:10 p.m. on Joseph Martin Highway, 52-year-old Gregory Lee Myers, of Martinsville, was headed west on Route 641 in a Nissan Frontier when an eastbound Dodge Ram 3500, which was driven by a 32-year-old, crossed the center-line and hit him, authorities said.

Three individuals facing federal charges after Dodge County swatting incident

(WGXA) -- Three individuals alleged to be part of an online swatting group are now facing federal charges. 18-year-old Owen Jarboe from Hagerstown, Maryland, 26-year-old Evan Strauss from Moneta, Virginia, and 18-year-old Brayden Grace from Columbus, Ohio are being charged with Conspiracy, Cyberstalking, Interstate Threatening Communications, and Threats to Damage or Destroy by Means of Fire and Explosives.

Danville Police arrest man who allegedly shot 19-year-old
DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — The Danville Police Department has arrested a man who was on the run for months after they say he shot a 19-year-old. According to DPD, officers arrested 32-year-old Devonta Lewayne Dodson of Pittsylvania County on Wednesday, May 8. The department said Dodson had been wanted since January 17 after he was identified as the suspect in a shooting on Keen Street.
