MIAMI (WSVN) - A pedestrian was killed in Miami after a violent car accident involving three other people. Police received a call just before 4:30 a.m. on Sunday and arrived at the scene where they found the pedestrian hit and three people trapped inside a car. They used the jaws of life to free them.

This week in Hialeah, Florida, several disturbing incidents occurred. A 13-year-old boy was accused of killing his mother, a woman and her son brutally attacked and stole jewelry from a nail salon employee, an 18-year-old man robbed a classmate at gunpoint, and a woman confessed to strangling her 8-year-old son. A Florida mother has been arrested after she was caught on camera brutally beating her 6-year-old son.

FORT LAUDERDALE - A deadly collision involving a Tri-Rail train in Fort Lauderdale.
