The University of Hawaiʻi women’s volleyball team, also known as the 'Bows, secured their place in the inaugural Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship. They achieved a straight-set victory over Long Beach State, making this their 30th consecutive and 41st overall entry into the Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament. As the No. 2 seed, they defeated the host and No. 4 seed Beach with scores of 26-24, 25-15, and 25-10.

Matthew Shipley, a senior at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, scored a 51-yard field goal on senior night. His performance helped the Rainbow Warrior football team secure a 27-24 victory over Colorado State on November 25. The game was held at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. The Rainbow Warriors ended their 2023 season with a 5-8 record, while the Rams finished at 5-7.

Carlos Ramsey Jr., a player for the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo men's basketball team, has received the title of PacWest Player of the Week. He earned this recognition after an overtime win against the Chaminade Silverswords on November 16. In that game, Ramsey Jr. scored 31 points, a personal best, helping his team to a 90-86 victory.
