Republican Andy Barr has won Kentucky's open U.S. Senate seat, defeating Democrat Charles Booker in the November 3 general election. ​. With all 120 counties and all 3,189 precincts reporting, the Kentucky Secretary of State's Election Night Reporting page listed Andy Barr with 784,867 votes and Charles Booker with 612,349. That puts Barr ahead by approximately 172,518 votes in the unofficial tally. Christopher Todd Campbell, a third-party candidate, received 29,865 votes, with 126 write-ins also recorded.
