Richland drivers to see traffic delays on Kennedy Road due to construction
RICHLAND, Wash. – Drivers in Richland should expect to see traffic delays and lane closures on Kennedy Road starting May 6, according to the City of Richland. The City says the delays will start at the intersection of Keene Road and Kennedy Road. Westbound lanes on Kennedy Road will be closed by Mon., May 13 for crews to install a new water main.
May is motorcycle safety awareness month
KENNEWICK, Wash.- The Washington Traffic Safety Commission said deadly motorcycle crashes are on the rise. Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Chris Thorson said as the weather gets warmer, the more motorcycles there are on the roads. Thorson said when troopers respond to motorcycle crashes, the motorcyclist often has injuries ranging from minor to fatal.
