$8 million Airway Heights fire and police department project moves forward

Spokane man convicted of aggravated attempted murder of a police officer
SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man who fired several shots at a police officer was convicted of attempted 1st degree murder on Friday. Robert Talley fled police officers on Aug. 6, 2023. Talley was chased from Airway Heights by police responding to a call that he had been in an argument all the way to an apartment complex on Sunset Highway.

Woman charged for allegedly killing man with his car
SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman has been charged for allegedly killing a man with his own car on April 9. Alyssa Bray was initially arrested in Lincoln County for a suspected DUI when deputies reportedly discovered that she was driving the truck of Spokane County resident Gerald Fox, who had been found dead earlier that day.
