A Spokane Police Department Officer, on a crime prevention assignment, noticed a man seemingly stealing merchandise and disabling anti-theft devices.

A pedestrian was killed in a car accident on S. Glenrose Road, south of Carnahan Road, on December 2, 2023. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Deputies responded to the scene at around 8:55 pm after receiving reports of a collision and an injured man on the road. Fire and AMR personnel were already providing medical aid when deputies arrived.
