PARKERSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Saturday April 20th, 2024 at approximately 0802 hours officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 1600 block of Tygart St. in reference to a shooting with injuries.

Mr. Aguilar was transported to Camden Clark Medical Center for his injuries. Detectives were called to the scene for further investigation where it was determined the suspect was Aaron Luke Cross who was Aguilar’s roommate at the time the incident transpired.

Upon executing a search warrant for the apartment Detectives located Fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as items used commonly in the sale and distribution of controlled substances.

Aguilar was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute due to the aforementioned controlled substances and evidence located during the search of the apartment.
