According to a news release from the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office on April 1, two deputies were tasked with serving an eviction notice to an elderly couple residing at a home on Flamingo Avenue. Sheriff Tommie Johnson III disclosed that one of the deputies had been assisting the residents in finding alternative housing and had arranged for them to stay at an extended-stay facility.
