Courtland man accused of credit card fraud
OXFORD – A Panola County man has been arrested in connection with the fraudulent use of a credit card at an Oxford business. Oxford police responded to a business in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue May 3 to take a report on credit card fraud. An individual from out of state called the business regarding a charge on their card at that location. After a brief investigation, Ladarius Wren, 31, of Courtland, was arrested for credit card fraud.

Mississippi businessmen appeal after request for ammunition reloading facility denied
Two Oxford businessmen have appealed after a Mississippi land development board denied their request for a special exemption for their ammunition reloading business. The Panola County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hear an appeal from Zelazny & Schaeffler Armaments, LLC, owned by Georg-Christian Schaeffler and Declan Zelazny, both Ole Miss students.
