Mayville Woman Charged After Vehicle Nearly Strikes House in Jamestown
Jamestown Police charged a Mayville woman with multiple counts after an investigation into a crash early Thursday on the city's east side. Officers responded to the scene on East 2nd Street near Foote Avenue shortly before 3:30 AM and saw a vehicle that struck a concrete staircase to a house. They also noticed a female limping up the street in an attempt to escape the scene. Officers quickly caught up to the female, identified as 30-year-old Alexandria Earls, and an investigation revealed that she was allegedly intoxicated. Earls was taken to UPMC Chautauqua for her injuries before she was brought to the Jamestown City Jail on charges of 4th-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, moving from lane unsafely, and felony DWI.

(WNY News Now) – A 41-year-old resident of 8 Pullman St., Jamestown, NY, was apprehended on multiple charges following a drug raid on his residence. Jamestown – In a coordinated effort involving the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, Jamestown and Sheriff K-9 Units, Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, and Dunkirk Police Department, a search warrant was executed at 8 Pullman St., Jamestown, NY, on September 27th, 2023, at approximately 8:15 AM. The operation followed an investigation into alleged cocaine and fentanyl sales from the said address.

Sheriff's Office Charges Two in Stockton Burglary Probe
An investigation into a recent burglary in the Town of Stockton resulted in the arrest of two Jamestown residents on Wednesday. The probe by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division found that 32-year-old Dustin Newbree and 38-year-old Monica Pacheco had allegedly entered a vacant residence on Moon Road and stole property between August 26th and September 5th. Investigators located the stolen property at a residence in Jamestown on September 15th. Newbree and Pacheco were both charged with 3rd-degree burglary, petit larceny, and 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Jamestown Woman Charged After Officers Exposed to Fentanyl in Jail Altercation
A Jamestown woman faces several charges after four police officers were exposed to fentanyl during an incident at the Jamestown City Jail on Monday. Jamestown Police brought in 34-year-old Jennifer Conti for an outstanding bench warrant shortly before 2:00 PM and later discovered that she allegedly had suspected drugs hidden on her. Conti allegedly fought with the officers and tried to ingest the drugs, but during the altercation, the baggie split open, exposing all four officers to a white powdery substance after it became airborne. They were taken to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment after the baggie tested positive for fentanyl. Conti was additionally charged with four counts of 2nd-degree assault, one count of tampering with physical evidence and one count of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was held at the jail pending arraignment.
