Woman Charged with DWI After Single Vehicle Rollover in Town of Hanover
(WNY News Now) – A 53-year-old female, faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) following a rollover accident on February 23rd, 2024, in the Town of Hanover. Chautauqua County Sheriffs Deputies, alongside Forestville EMS, responded to a single motor vehicle rollover in Hanover at 2:45 pm on 2/23/24. The investigation revealed that Jodi L. Brown, the vehicle’s 53-year-old operator, was intoxicated. She was taken into custody without incident and later released with traffic tickets. Brown is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover court at a later date to address the charges of DWI, along with additional charges of 1120a (Failed to Keep Right) and 1128a (Moved From Lane Unsafely). The incident involved no injuries.

Cherry Creek Man Charged After Mushrooms Found in Jamestown Traffic Stop
A Cherry Creek man was taken into custody on a felony drug possession charge after a traffic stop in Jamestown on Saturday. Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Steele Street and Barrett Avenue at about 7:30 PM and determined that 41-year-old Stephen Hinkley was allegedly in possession of eight grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms. He was charged with 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
