Alexis Minaberry: Your Volusia-Flagler Athlete of the Week for May 6-11

The results are in, and Spruce Creek softball player Alexis Minaberry has been named the Athlete of the Week for the week of May 6-11.

The sophomore had hits in all three of her at-bats and scored three times during a 7-1 victory over Mandarin in the Region 1-7A quarterfinals. Two of her hits were solo homers. She claimed 68% of the votes.

Flagler Palm Coast baseball player Kevin Maya took second with 10% of the votes.
