HHS Corner Demarcus Baker Pulls The Trigger For Southern Miss
Hattiesburg High's Demarcus Baker 6'1" 190 is a big, long corner who has sub 11.00 100 meters speed. That speed is evident when you turn on the film and see him pull away from defenders, with multiple TD's in the return game last season. That speed is a proven commodity as Baker is a state champ in the 4X100, as well as the 4X200 relay. Demarcus' size and athleticism is unquestionable, but it's his physicality that catches the eye quickly as he is no doubt a willing striker, who punishes ball carriers. Baker was a Second Team All-State as a junior, with three TD’s a a return man, to go along with three picks.
