Breaking – Rollover Crash on US-23 in South Bloomfield
Pickaway County – A vehicle crash has occurred around 8:15 am in the area of South Bloomfield. According to early reports, the crash occurred in the area of Sheets or SR-752 in South Bloomfield on US-23 in the Northbound lane. Two vehicles are involved and one is on its side after a rollover. It is currently unknown on injuries. Emergency vehicles are heading to the scene.
Franklin County jury finds woman acted in self-defense in shooting outside Franklinton home
A Franklin County jury acquitted a 30-year-old woman after determining she shot another woman in self-defense. Ja'Lynn Davis, of Franklinton, was on trial for two counts of felonious assault in the Jan. 7, 2023 incident. It has been a beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine, and highs a few degrees above normal in the upper 70s to near 80. Clouds will increase overnight tonight with a chance of showers increasing toward daybreak on Friday with lows in the lower 60s. Friday we will see scattered rain showers and pop-up storms possible through the day, with highs still in the middle 70s.
