Teen faces several charges in theft, crash of RPD car
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The 16-year-old boy accused of stealing a Rochester Police car Wednesday morning and crashing it about five miles away now faces multiple charges. The teen has been charged as an adolescent offender with second- and third-degree counts of criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree grand larceny, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage (hit-and-run).

Summer is less than a month away and we want to remember one of the crazier summertime antics that used to be held in the Rochester area — ostrich racing. The races were held annually at the Monroe County Fairgrounds and occasionally at other local sites. Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — A dispute over a parking lot policy in one of the city's most popular and vibrant neighborhoods is now heading to court. Zoom Tan Inc. on Park Avenue filed a lawsuit Thursday against Park and Berkeley LLC, claiming its pay-to-park lot is a breach of the lease between the two and has caused a "dramatic decline" in the tanning salon's business.
