VICTOR, NY — Who will be the next recipients of the Professional Women of the Finger Lakes' Women of Distinction Awards?
The winners will be announced at a dinner planned for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Ravenwood Golf Club, 929 Lynaugh Road, Victor. Here are the nominees in four categories.
Professional Achievement
- Tracy DelloStritto, president and CEO, Ontario Chamber of Commerce
- Melissa James-Geska, president, US Ceiling Corp.
- Laura Eichenseer, senior vice president, sales, First American Equipment Finance
- Barbara A. Wagner, senior vice president, director of operations, The Canandaigua National Bank and Trust
Entrepreneurial
- Kim Vakiener, owner and president, KiX on Main
- Danielle Willardson, owner, Halo Salon
- Kristy Aldrich, co-owner, Reinvention Brewing Co.
Volunteer Service
- Shane Grant, managing director of operations, Dixon Schwabl + Company
- Hannah Freida, E-Branch manager, Reliant Credit Union
- Quinn Smith, board chair, Sands Family YMCA
- Dawn Priolo, treasurer, Ontario Children’s Foundation
Women Helping Women
- Karen White, retired from Canandaigua School District

Why is the Professional Women of the Finger Lakes event a big deal?
The event is a major fundraiser to help underwrite the Professional Women of the Finger Lakes’ scholarship program. The organization gives a minimum of five scholarships to women on an annual basis ranging from $500 to $2,000 each.
The organization has given out more than $100,000 in scholarships over the last 15 years.
