SANFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — A taxi driver is facing drug charges after he was found with cocaine in his work vehicle, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Friday. Deputies said they were driving on Third Street near Alcott Street in Sanford on Wednesday when they attempted to pull over a white minivan with the taxi company Friendly Rides.
