Nearly 2,000 students to graduate at ECISD ceremonies: here’s when you can watch

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Within one week, almost 2,000 Ector County ISD seniors will be walking the stage at six different graduations, stepping into the next exciting part of their lives.

Friday, May 17th

• Beginning at 6pm, OCTECHS will begin its graduation ceremony at the Odessa College Sports Center. The event will be livestreamed on the Odessa College YouTube channel here .

• Starting at 8pm, the Odessa Collegiate Academy will begin its graduation ceremony at the Odessa College Sports Center. The event will also be livestreamed on the Odessa College YouTube channel here .

Wednesday, May 22nd

• At 7pm, the George H.W. Bush New Tech Odessa will have its graduation at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.

Thursday, May 23rd

• At 7pm the next day, the STEM Academy will be having its graduation at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.

• Then at 8:30pm, Permian High School will be holding its graduation at Ratliff Stadium. This event will be livestreamed on the Permian Sports Network website here .

Friday, May 24th

• Starting at 8:30pm, Odessa High School will be having its graduation at Ratliff Stadium. This event will be livestreamed on the Permian Sports Network website here .

Due to Permian High School and Odessa High School ceremonies being outdoors at Ratliff Stadium, the district would like to remind parents of the following:

If bad weather results in one of the ceremonies being postponed, that ceremony will be made up on Saturday, May 25, at 8:30 a.m. If bad weather results in both ceremonies being postponed one will be made up at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and the second will be made up at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be four entrances and exits. Please see the maps for the traffic patterns that will be in place for both ceremonies at the stadium. This is important to know to determine your best route to the stadium.

All Ratliff Stadium guidelines will be enforced, including the clear bag policy. You can find all those stadium guidelines here on the ECISD website .
