Odessa streets to undergo seal coating; residents advised to move vehicles
ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Public Works Department will begin seal coating streets on June 13 and aim to finish by June 21, according to a press release from the City of Odessa. Streets marked in red will be treated, and residents must move their vehicles from these streets.

City of Odessa takes first steps towards replacing large stretch of pipeline
ODESSA, Texas — The City of Odessa sewage system has about 500 miles of sewage pipeline stretching through it. At Tuesday's City Council meeting, they took the first steps towards making improvements to it, approving a Professional Service Agreement Contract with Carollo Engineers, Inc. for the design services for the removal and replacement of approximately 1000 linear feet of 24-inch CIP/VCP pipeline within the system.

Bond properties ceremony set
Ector County ISD leaders announced Monday the locations for the new middle school and the new CTE high school are now officially ECISD properties. Superintendent Scott Muri and a few others will be hosting a very brief ceremony at 9 a.m. June 11 as signs go up announcing these sites as the future homes for new schools. There is a lot of work ahead to prepare these locations for building, but this will serve as a kickoff announcement, a news release stated.
