(7News) — Severe thunderstorms wreaked havoc in Ocean City, Maryland on Friday, causing significant damage to several buildings just days before the Memorial Day weekend. 7News spoke to one viewer who described a particularly dramatic scene, stating that "the roof apparently got thrown over 900 feet."

Millsboro Woman Arrested on Felony Drug Charges
MILLSBORO, DE - Troopers arrested a woman on drug dealing charges after a suspicious person investigation. Delaware State Police arrested 43-year-old Melissa Horton, of Millsboro, following an incident on May 18. State Police say around 3:47 a.m., troopers responded to a home on Devonshire Road for a report of a suspicious person wearing dark-colored clothing and a backpack looking into windows and possibly stealing mail.
Route 50 Bridge Reopens After Drawbridge Issue Forced Closure
OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Route 50 drawbridge in and out of Ocean City has been reopened after a drawbridge mechanical error forced its temporary closure. The OCPD said at 9:03 p.m. that the bridge had reopened after reporting at 8:47 p.m. Sunday evening that the bridge was closed because the lock could not be placed.
