OCPD Offering Reward in Search for Key Piece of Evidence
OCEAN CITY, MD.- A reward is up for grabs for whoever can find a weapon discarded by a fleeing suspect in Ocean City. Ocean City Police say they are trying to find a weapon that they believe was left in the area of First Street and Baltimore Avenue around 7 p.m. on April 13th. They did not offer any more information on the type of weapon.

Recent traffic initiative in Worcester Co. results in over 70 stops
BERLIN, Md. – Maryland State Police troopers out of the Berlin Barrack have announced the results of a recent traffic safety initiative. Troopers conducted a targeted safety initiative at the intersection of Route 50 and 610 earlier this week. According to police, the location was chosen due to its high amount of car crashes. During the initiative, officers made 71 traffic stops in four hours, many of which came from failures to make full stops before crossing Route 50. Many of the other violations were for excessive speed and distracted driving.
Public Comment Welcomed on Proposed Worcester County Solar Project
SNOW HILL, MD - The Maryland Public Service Commission has announced a virtual public hearing to discuss a proposed solar facility in Snow Hill. According to the Commission, a plan for a 4.0 MW community solar generating facility on Timmons Road in Snow Hill has been submitted by Chaberton Solar Snow, LLC. The Commission plans to present these plans at their virtual hearing on Tuesday, April 30th at 7 p.m.
