Pittsville leaders propose real property tax increase
PITTSVILLE, Md. – Pittsville residents could be seeing a real property tax increase, if town commissioners approve it. Town leaders are proposing an increase from $0.2875 per $100 of real property assessed to $0.30 per $100. Commission President Sean McHugh says that works out to between $10 and $30 more per year, depending on how large a person’s property is.
