TINTON FALLS - The body found earlier this month mixed in with recyclables at a recycling plant has been identified, authorities confirmed Monday. Three teenagers have been charged in connection to a dispute involving a firearm at a local Wawa in Galloway, NJ. During a search warrant execution at a residence, heroin and two firearms, one of which was reported stolen, were seized. In another incident, an 18-year-old driver struck and fatally injured a pedestrian on West Moss Mill Road. The road was closed for investigation, and the accident remains under investigation.

OCEAN CITY — Bill Campbell was sworn in as the city’s new police chief Nov. 9, replacing Jay Prettyman, who retired after a 32 years with the Ocean City Police Department. The 55-year-old grew up in Lansdowne, Pa. He and his wife have a 22-year-old son and live in Egg Harbor Township.
