Wapakoneta students close out annual fundraising effort with Ronald's Walk
WAPAKONETA, OH (WLIO) - It was kids helping kids at Wapakoneta Elementary School on Friday. The annual Ronald's Walk fundraiser began in August at the start of the school year, when the students began raising money for the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton. Students participated in competitive activities like collecting pop tabs to donate for recycling, as well as the walk and relay races that took place today.
