Tickets go on sale May 1 for special events at Lavender Festival in Oak Ridge

Tickets for three special events at the Jackson Square Lavender Festival in Oak Ridge will go on sale beginning Wednesday, May 1.

This includes the Herb Lunch June 14, the Tour of Gardens June 14-16, and Nine Lakes Wine Tasting June 15.

You may purchase online at www.JacksonSquareLavenderFestival.org, or by calling 865-414-9392.

Herb Lunch tickets may also be purchased in person, in front of Pinnacle Bank in Jackson Square on May 1, 2, and 3, from 10 a.m. to Noon.

The Herb Lunch will be at noon June 14, under the big tent, featuring an herbal lunch by Birdwell Catering and harp music by Becky Hook.

Guest speaker this year is Susan E. Hirsch, formulations manager for Gaia Herbs, Brevard, North Carolina.

The Main Event at Jackson Square Lavender Festival on June 15 is free, and features 150 artisans, live music, free children's activities, informative speakers and more inside Jackson Square. More details will be released soon, according to a news release from a festival organizer.
