On March 11, 2024, Callahan pleaded guilty, and will serve her sentences back-to-back. She must serve at least four years and nine months in prison before becoming eligible for parole.

Callahan sold Fentanyl to a confidential informant who worked with the Central Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in the Oak Hill area of Fayette County in March 2023. It was discovered that Callahan sold Fentanyl four different times, one of which included the help of an unidentified man, the sales of which totaled around $1,800.

Laboratory tests revealed that Xylazine, also referred to by the street name “tranq,” was a part of the substances sold by Callahan. Months after the crimes were committed, Xylazine was named a Schedule IV controlled substance.

The incident was investigated by the Central Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
