    From three meet records to softball tournament dates and times: High school notebook

    Azure Travis established a meet record in the 100 at 12.28 seconds and 100 hurdles at 14.68, and matched the meet record in the 200 at 25.60 as Woodmore's girls finished first at the Oak Harbor Invitational.

    Travis won the 300 hurdles at 46.37. Emma Hammer won the 800 at 2:23.61.

    Morgan Wiechman won the 1,600 at 5:28.60 as Port Clinton was second. Michaela Stork won the shot put at 34-03.75 and discus at 123-02.

    Baseball Oak Harbor catcher Butzin won't ever let you see it hurts

    Danbury's Emma Redett established a meet record in the 3,200 at 11:08.74. Redett, Kelly Uhinck, Katelynne Bergman and Maria Maringer won the 4x800 at 9:55.25.

    Margaretta's Alayna Biehl, Julia Berg, Olivia Saylor and Macyn Phillips established a meet record in the 4x200 relay at 1:44.51. Biehl won the pole vault at 11.

    Genoa's Lillian Frias won the high jump at 5-03 and long jump at 16-07.75.

    Tyler Thompson won the 100 at 10.81, Garry Brooks won the 200 at 22.55 and Bodee Miller won the 800 at 2:01.33 as the Rockets' boys finished second. Braden Schultz won the high jump at 6-04 and Evan Hall won the shot put at 54-01.50.

    Oak Harbor's Wyatt Augsburger won the 110 hurdles at 14.83 and 300 hurdles at 40.09. Thompson, Carson Ridener, Blake Nickel and Brooks won the 4x200 at 1:29.47 and Augsburger, Nickel, Ridener and Miller won the 4x400 at 3:28.23.

    Margaretta's Cooper Tigges, Tate Bailey, Kaine Smetzer and Gage Bodey won the 4x100 at 43.77. Bodey won the long jump at 21-09.

    Lakota's Braxton Quaintance won the pole vault at 14-03 and Genoa's Caleb Gittus won the discus at 145-04.

    Eastwood finished first for the boys.

    Softball sectional matchups

    No. 2-seed Oak Harbor waits to play host to the winner between No. 8 Northwood and No. 9 Metamora Evergreen at 5 p.m. Friday in a Division III sectional final.

    Four-seed Genoa plays host Friday to No. 5 Swanton at 5 p.m. in a sectional final.

    Third-seeded Margaretta plays host Friday to No. 11 Western Reserve at 5 p.m. in a sectional final.

    Top-seed Danbury waits to play host to the winner between No. 7 Emmanuel Christian and No. 8 Toledo Christian at 5 p.m. Thursday in a Division IV sectional final.

    No. 2-seed Gibsonburg waits to play host to the winner between No. 6 Old Fort and No. 9 St. Mary Central Catholic at 5 p.m. Thursday in a sectional final.

    No. 3-seed St. Joseph Central Catholic plays host Thursday to No. 10 Ottawa Hills at 5 p.m. in a sectional final.

    No. 4-seed Woodmore plays host Thursday to No. 5 Lakota at 5 p.m. in a sectional final.

    No. 5-seed Port Clinton waits to play host to the winner between No. 7 Lake and No. 10 Fostoria at 5 p.m. Friday in a Division II sectional final.

    No. 5-seed Clyde plays visiting No. 6 Ontario at 5 p.m. Thursday in a sectional final.

    No. 8-seed Bellevue visits No. 7 Perkins at 5 p.m. Tuesday for a sectional semifinal.

    No. 15-seed Fremont Ross played host Monday to No. 16 Sylvania Southview in a Division I sectional semifinal.
