Officials arrest 2 men on gambling charges in Auburn
AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - Auburn officials arrested two men on gambling charges on Tuesday. According to authorities, on May 14, 30-year-old Rifat Hassan and 62-year-old Robert Levett, both from Auburn, were arrested on gambling charges. Officials says this arrest comes from an investigation involving an illegal gambling operation located at a local business at 2400 block of East Glenn in Auburn.

Wetumpka High School vandalized during senior prank, superintendent says
WETUMPKA, Ala. (WSFA) - The Elmore County public school district says an incident at Wetumpka High School has landed 11 students in trouble. Superintendent Richard Dennis sent a statement saying 11 seniors trespassed at the school this past Tuesday and “vandalized several areas.” He said those students will face consequences as outlined by the Elmore County Board of Education Code of Conduct.
