Light of Hope has raised $140,000 since formation
Corks & Pints was full of hundreds of people trying a large selection of beer, wine and spirits for the Bubbles, Bottles & Brew tasting-event fundraiser Friday evening that raised over $12,000. A Minneapolis man was sentenced on Wednesday for his role in a 2021 vehicle crash that killed a former Northfield priest in Rosemount, according to a release from the Dakota County Attorney’s Office. Trejean Derrell Curry, 28, was sentenced to five years of probation by Judge Dannia Edwards. Local music educators share the stage with the Minnesota Orchestra
Two Northfield music educators will be on stage April 25-28 at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis performing with Minnesota Orchestra musicians during a unique collaboration. Nahal Javan, band director at Northfield High School, and Michael Legvold, band director at Cannon Falls High School, will perform alongside their Minnesota Orchestra counterparts. Northfielders tour US Bank Stadium
On Thursday morning, 20 Northfielders toured U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on a bus trip sponsored by FiftyNorth.
