Waterloo man charged in scheme to steal money from North Liberty hotel using fake employee
WATERLOO, Iowa — A Waterloo man was charged with first-degree theft and identity theft of over $10,000,KCRG reports. Robert Mosley, 43, a general manager at a North Liberty hotel, is accused of hiring a fake employee and clocking in and out for that employee so he could collect the paychecks.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) -The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teen. Jaylin Brown, 13, was last seen in the 1900 Block of Broadway Street on May 16, 2024. Jaylin is approximately 5′11″, 125 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and open toed shoes.

Armed Robbery at Marion Kum & Go, police asking for help identifying man responsible
MARION, Iowa — Marion Police are asking for your help in finding the man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint. Officers were called to the Kum & Go on Blairs Ferry Road just after 5:30am Saturday. Witnesses say the suspect had a gun, and described him as a short white man, with tattoos on his right hand and both legs. He was wearing dark colored shows, grey shorts, a black hoodie with a large face on it, a pink wristband on his right wrist, and a black flat bill hat with a green Pennywise face on it. Pennywise is an evil clown in the "It" novel and movies.
