The ‘Cats couldn’t get enough offense going to match the Pioneers scoring prowess in their match up on Tuesday, April 23. Hill scored four goals in the first quarter and the second quarter and five more in the third quarter while CL only mustered 1-2-2, leaving them in a 13-5 deficit. Hill played a keepaway game in the fourth quarter and Chisago Lakes didn’t have enough possession time to threaten a comeback.

Three killed in accident in Bradford County
Athens Township, Pa. — Three people were killed early Tuesday morning in a vehicle crash just north of the Sayre Bridge in Athens Township. The driver, 46-year-old Brett W. Relyea, was traveling south on Riverside Drive at a high rate of speed around 2:30 a.m. April 23 when he lost control of his 2013 Nissan Altima, according to Athens Township Police. Police say the car then traveled a distance across the road and hit a parked 2001 Ford F350 pickup truck. Relyea and his two passengers, Melanie M. Schnurbusch, 42, and Arthur G. Bidlack, 46, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Bradford County Coroner. Police say an autopsy was performed on all three occupants of the vehicle. A toxicology report and the investigation are pending.
