The board approved the cut during its early April meeting. Coon Rapids man sentenced for fentanyl possession during arrest
A Coon Rapids man, Tanner Nicholas Delaney, age 24, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony-level drug possession over an incident last February. According to court documents, on Feb. 4, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was called to an area business on a report Delaney was there. Delaney had current warrants out for his arrest. Delaney was found in the parking lot and taken into custody. During a search, he was found with fentanyl on his person, and he admitted smoking it two hours earlier.
Minnesota’s attorney general sues used-car dealership for alleged fraud
The attorney general’s office filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Midwest Car Search in Fridley for allegedly selling cars that aren’t certified by the state. According to Attorney General Keith Ellison, Midwest Car Search allegedly engaged in a pattern of deceptive sales, specifically targeting Spanish speakers and people with low credit scores.

STAR House is opening in May or June and will offer 5 beds each weekend.
