Police: Man caught on hidden camera stealing money from Alliance YMCA gym locker
Jerome Thomas Love was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for allegedly stealing money from another gym member’s locker at the YMCA on South Union Avenue. According to an Alliance Police report, Love, 32, was taken into custody at approximately 12:49 p.m. The victim reported the thefts, which occurred on May 1 and May 22. In response to multiple incidents, the victim installed small cameras inside his locker, which captured Love accessing the locker and taking money from a money clip in the victim’s jeans, the report reads.

BARBERTON: A man reported to police that someone stole his basketball May 20 while he was at the Barberton YMCA. Police were called to a Lincoln Avenue home May 21 for a report of a domestic incident. A woman told police a man pointed a gun at her and said he was going to kill her. The man denied having a gun during an argument with the woman. A shotgun was found under his bed and the man had a warrant. He was charged with aggravated menacing and domestic violence and turned over to the Brecksville Police Department for his warrant. The woman was also found to have a warrant out of the Copley Police Department and she was turned over to that department.
