    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Fireworks shows and events are planned across Connecticut to celebrate Independence Day. We’ve created a list of where and when to find a Fourth of July event near you!

    This list, which is organized by date, will be updated as more information on shows and events becomes available.

    I was hoping Naugatuck would have fireworks. I think 4th of July fireworks are a great way to reinforce community.

    Sure do wish they were illegal here like Massachusetts. I get the point of celebrating, but I'm an animal lover. People don't realize how bad they affect them. Sorry.
