HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Tri-State poll worker has been banned from working in future Perry County elections after being accused of intimidating a voter in the Indiana Primary election.

The Perry County Election Board voted to ban Republican poll worker Sherri Flynn following the allegations. In his complaint, Bradley Dehart says Flynn intimidated and threatened him as he tried to vote during the primary.

Dehart says he believes Flynn targeted and discriminated against him because of his sexual orientation and his relationship with Democratic Tell City Mayor Chris Cail. Poll workers say Flynn became agitated and loud as she attempted to challenge Dehart’s right to cast a Republican ballot.

Police were called to the polling place in response to the incident.
