5/21: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Leah Beth Lastrapes , 34, 2117 Rose St. — possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); three counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; evidence of motor vehicle liability security contained in vehicle; vehicle not registered; direct contempt of court Bond: $35,350.

Christopher Lee Kenneth Mercer , 27, 6023 Cormier Cemetery Road, Vinton — domestic abuse battery-child endangerment.

Desmond Paul Washington , 44, 2127 Vito St. — direct contempt of court; domestic abuse-aggravated assault child endangerment; aggravated assault with a firearm; domestic abuse battery-child endangerment.

Damion Andrew Walter Batiste , 39, 1806 Pino Noire St. — public intimidation and retaliation; resisting an officer; criminal trespass. Bond: $29,000.

Chase Nicholas Benoit , 35, 1831 Evangeline Highway, Jennings — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; simple burglary. Bond: $55,000.

Alvin Joseph Pullman Jr ., 41, 4249 5th Ave. — monetary instrument abuse; two counts drug possession. Bond: $10,000.

Bryan Paul Richard , 56, 6875 La. 3256 — stalking. Bond: $7,500.

James Kenneth Burchett , 59, 319 Smith St., DeQuincy — operating while intoxicated, fourth offense. Bond: $40,000.

Courtney Paige Fee , 26, 2222 Carolyn St., Sulphur — home invasion; domestic abuse battery-child endangerment; simple battery.

April Lynn Gann , 36, 836 Lance St., Sulphur — illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments. Bond: $17,500.

Layne Jude Hardin , 55, 1547 Golden Road, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery.

Alex Joseph Mitchell , 17, 113 Holmes St. — possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or more); illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; possession of or dealing in unregistered or illegally transferred weapons; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS.

Keddin Lamont Martin , 20, 2118 Legion St. — possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or more); illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; possession of or dealing in unregistered or illegally transferred weapons; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS.

Nick Ochoa , 39, 3120 Hodges St. — aggravated assault with a firearm; resisting an officer by refusal to I.D. Bond: $16,000.

James Wade Guillory , 55, 14925 La. 27, DeQuincy — operating while intoxicated, first offense; two counts drug possession; operating vehicle while license is suspended. Bond: $6,000.

Shannon McBride Bertrand , 36, 1008 W. 18th St. — false imprisonment; domestic abuse aggravated assault.
