JACKSON — Honor Wyoming, a self-described “grassroots organization dedicated to upholding integrity in our political system,” updated its address Tuesday with the Secretary of State’s Office after a request was made by Rep. Mike Yin, who serves House District 16.

More information on the leaders of the group and its network followed.

Honor Wyoming has gained attention recently for its attacks on Teton County lawmakers’ integrity and its calls to save the Teton County Fairgrounds and Jackson rodeo. Little is known about the new group.

Yin, a Democrat, wrote to the Business Division on May 1 citing his concern that the “principal office” address listed for Honor Wyoming was not the actual offices. He said it didn’t align with the statutory requirements. He pointed out the group’s address was a mailbox at a UPS Store in Cheyenne.

“If this is an honest mistake from the entities listed, I hope the Business Division can work to ensure the mistake is corrected,” Yin wrote. “If this is a fraudulent filing, I ask that the Business Division work to administratively dissolve the filing.”

He didn’t receive an answer until Wednesday.

“Upon receiving Rep. Yin’s letter, our Business Division reviewed the records associated with the entities,” Secretary of State Chuck Gray said in an email Wednesday. “There was no evidence of a fraudulent filing with our office. However, we notified the entities of Rep. Yin’s concern, and requested the entities correct this address information.”

The Honor Wyoming address is now listed as the home address of Kevin Lewis, formerly registered as a lobbyist for the group. The change was signed off by Executive Director John Guido.

Lewis said he was asked in the past three weeks to become the address-holder of the organization; he would not say by whom.

He said that besides his brief role as a lobbyist during the 2024 budget session, this was the only other responsibility he had for the organization.

“I think it was just easier,” he said. “Because I receive mail for lots of companies these days.”

Lewis is a managing member of Fidelity Registered Agents LLC along with attorney Drake Hill, the husband of former Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill. The address is listed under the business, along with Lewis’ voter registration.

Lewis said the change was not made because of Yin’s letter. Nor did Lewis say he saw the letter or talked with the Secretary of State’s office.

    “Not one bit,” he said.

Before Wednesday, there were also no directors listed for Honor Wyoming.

The only information included was the registered agent: Incorp Services, an LLC filing and corporation service based in Las Vegas that can provide anonymity.

But the changes were all signed off on by Guido, who paid a $25 license tax, updated the principal office and filed a 2024 annual business report on Tuesday.

Now, three people have been made the face of Honor Wyoming: Thomas James “Jimmy” Anderson and Blair Maus, from Teton County, and Kerry Powers, of Wheatland, were listed as directors.

Lewis’ Cheyenne address is listed as the address of all three directors.

Only Anderson responded for comment Wednesday.

“That’s what they tell me,” he said when asked about the new title.

He recommended reaching out to Guido, who is listed as the executive director of the nonprofit.

“I’m a nobody,” Anderson said. “They want me because I’ve been here for a long time and I know everybody, and so I bring people that need to be informed of things. That’s all why I’m here. I have nothing to do really with the group other than that.”
