    Pennsylvania fugitive arrested in Chemung County

    ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A Pennsylvania man has been arrested as a fugitive from justice in Chemung County for violation of probation from a previous charge.

    According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Jamie M. Lang, 41, was arrested after the Criminal Investigations Division received a warrant from Bradford County, Pennsylvania, on May 10.

    The warrant requested that Lang, who is currently in custody at the Chemung County Jail, be held on the warrant.

    Lang was arrested and processed as a fugitive from justice, and then later arraigned by the Chemung County Court. He was then returned to the Chemung County Jail where he awaits extradition back to Pennsylvania.
