Bridge inspection on US 431 Livermore bridge on Thursday

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced there will be a bridge inspection on the US 431 Livermore bridge on Thursday.

The KYTC says there will be lane restrictions on the US 431 Livermore bridge over the Green and Rough Rivers in McLean County on May 16 to allow for a routine bridge inspection to take place.

The KYTC says it will utilize an under bridge inspection vehicle, an inspection platform, climb team and unmanned aerial vehicles to assess the current state of the structure which was built in 1939. Lane restrictions with flaggers will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officials say appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
