Your Oregon News asked readers what they would spend the grand prize money on if they won the $5,000 jackpot from the Home and Garden Sweepstakes.

Many readers said they would use the funds to landscape Backyard Habitat certification levels to attract pollinators and wildlife. All respondents said they are entering the sweeps.

Here’s what our readers say the prize money would go toward in their homes and gardens:

“I would redo my back yard. I lost 17 trees during the ice storm.”

“I would do some work on my mobile home.”

“I would put in a patio and barbecue area.”

“I would spend some on the backyard so I can grow more fruits and veggies. I’d like to be able to share the food with senior neighbors and any family needing more health alternatives.
