LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Meet Obi-Wan Kenobi. The scared stray was found covered in motor oil.

The Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter cleaned him up and he is ready to find a new home!

He is a friendly cat and the shelter believes he was either a neighborhood cat that was cared for by the community or an indoor/ outdoor cat who lost his way.

Some cats that are used to being allowed outside when they choose cannot adjust to life as an indoor-only cat. Potential adopters wishing to make one of them an indoor pet will need to be patient and keep in mind that there could be potential behavior issues and that some cats never lose their desire to roam.

Obi-Wan is 10 months old, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. You may also inquire about him by visiting ac.ingham.org or calling 517-676-8370.

Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is participating in the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty The Shelters event now through May 15. All dogs are only $25 to adopt and all cats are only $10 to adopt.
