NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple roads across Middle Tennessee are currently closed due to significant flooding and storm debris following the wave of severe storms that passed through the state.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said several state routes are among the closures, citing flooding and downed trees left behind in the wake of the storms.

Maury County , which was hit with a deadly tornado , will see State Route 373 closed until further notice.

Macon County will see SR 141, 56, and 80 closed.

TDOT said conditions are quickly changing, and crews are working to reopen roads as soon as they safely can.

TDOT and contracted maintenance crews have worked through the night to clear roads that became obstructed by debris or downed trees, and many crews were still working Thursday morning to clear debris and monitor flooded roads as the waters recede.
