    WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has a job opening for a Victim Advocate.

    Minimum qualifications include:

    High School diploma;

    Direct work experience in a criminal justice setting;

    Working knowledge of the criminal justice system;

    Ability to communicate effectively with the professional community and ability to interact with victims;

    Ability to interact with victims and their families in a supportive and nurturing manner;

    Ability to work independently.

    Job duties include providing support to crime victims and their families, which involves advocacy, assisting victims in their interactions with the criminal justice system, data entry, and recruiting and training volunteers. Some travel is required.

    Annual salary: $25,750.93 plus benefits. This is a one-year grant-funded position with continuation dependent upon funding renewal. Send cover letter and resume to Gregory A.
