Cooler weather and chance of light showers this evening for Connecticut

NOW : Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says today brings more lighter showers which hold off until late evening. Increasing clouds through the afternoon with highs sitting seasonal. Friday's rain is all day on and off steady at times with chillier temperatures barely making it out of the 50s.

NEXT : The weekend isn't the worst. A few showers early Saturday morning before a nice rebound into the afternoon. It will rain on Mother's Day but it will be late in the day. Umbrellas might be needed if your taking Mom out to dinner. Highs will be in the lower 60s. We bounce back to 70s and sun to open up next week.
