Angel Reese Reveals WNBA Legend Was Inspiration Behind Her Met Gala Look

WNBA rookie Angel Reece recently attended the Met Gala. While it may have stirred drama about her dedication to the game, Reese is proud of her outfit and representation of the WNBA while she was at the red carpet.

Reese said this was one of her biggest dreams growing up and she finally got to check a major box off her wish list.

She spoke about her illustrious outfit and the reasoning behind her taking pride in her look.

"A lot of us got drip. We can dress. We got fashion. On and off the court we love to look good a lot in this league... Like I'm saying a lot of these women have desvered this before. I've watched players, Lisa Leslie, that's somebody I've always looked at." said Reese, via Julia Poe on X.
