PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Sunday is looking sunny and warm with highs near 80. Later Sunday night, we could see some storms begin to move into our area.

EXTENDED FORECAST: The next round of showers and storms looks to hold off until the weekend is over, with showers and storms expected both Monday and Tuesday. Some of these storms could be on the strong to severe side. ALERT DAY conditions are possible for Tuesday, but some severe weather is possible Monday as well. Temperatures will drop a bit following the storms, but highs will still be comfortably in the lower 70s/upper 60s.
